Who We Are

Garima Setu Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, working towards the empowerment, dignity, and protection of unorganised household and domestic workers.

We focus on verification, basic skill training, awareness, and ethical placement support for domestic workers while also safeguarding the interests of households and employers through structured processes.

Our work addresses the challenges faced by unorganised workers such as lack of identity, absence of formal verification, limited access to training, poor awareness of rights and responsibilities, and vulnerability to exploitation.

The Trust operates on the principles of transparency, inclusiveness, legality, and social responsibility, and collaborates with workers, supervisors, trainers, community leaders, and institutions to create a safer and more organised ecosystem for household employment.

Transparency

Clear processes for verification, onboarding, and placement communication.

Legality

Structured and lawful practices for worker and household safety.

Inclusion

Support for vulnerable workers with dignity-first outreach.

Social Responsibility

Ethical employment ecosystem for long-term trust and fairness.
